Administrative Information BioInTx Club Official Constitution BioInTx Website Annual Renewal Form (doc) Student Development Center (SDC) Student Government Association (SGA) UTEP Handbook of Operating Procedures - Student Affairs: Student Organizations · Duties of the Officers             President: Oversee the agenda, events and the well-being of the club.             Vice-President: Assists the President, and other officers as needed.             Treasurer: Takes care of the club's financial matters.             Secretary: Takes down the minutes of the meetings, and other administrative details. · Eligibility to be an officer i) UTEP student w/ min GPA of 3.0 ii) not be on any disciplinary probation iii) active member of the organization for at least one semester (80% attendance) iv) enroll in at least one bioinformatics related course · Elections Election of new officers will be held in April of each academic year. · Membership Dues             $5/Semester for Students.   (Checks can be made payable to "BioInTx Club")             BioInTx Club is a non-profit organization. · Meeting Conduct             i) At the beginning of each meeting, the treasurer will give a financial update,                and the secretary will recap what was discussed at the previous meeting.             ii) Only one person can talk at a time for a maximum of about 3 min                 (to be monitored by the VP or secretary).             iii) The VP or secretary will recognize the speaker.             iv) Each decision/motion must be "proposed" and "seconded" to ensure                  there is a general consensus for that motion.             v) At the end of the meeting a member will pass the motion to adjourn the                 meeting when there are no other issues to be discussed.
